I mean, most authors are unknown maybe i am a classicist and to me a writer is somebody like -Italian spellings- Dostoevskij, Tolstoj, Stendhal, Dickens, Proust, Balzac, Maupassant, Hemingway but then those sentences are mostly baroque, sometimes plain grotesque. I believe Cormac McCarthy has many more beautiful sentences than the one you picked but you would have to eliminate that word limit! To note on the introduction, I have read those lists and I personally liked the Esquire list. Sometimes shallow quip-like declarations can be poignant without context. There are great sentences online.
