I mean, most authors are unknown maybe i am a classicist and to me a writer is somebody like -Italian spellings- Dostoevskij, Tolstoj, Stendhal, Dickens, Proust, Balzac, Maupassant, Hemingway but then those sentences are mostly baroque, sometimes plain grotesque. I believe Cormac McCarthy has many more beautiful sentences than the one you picked but you would have to eliminate that word limit!
